Description and Applications |
HX-7 is a high iron oxide powder type
electrode for flat and horizontal fillet welding.
High welding efficiency is obtained when it is used in
combination with a gravity welder.
For welding of mild steels for ships, buildings,
bridges, and machinery.

Guideline in Usage |
1. |
Electrodes should be re-dried at
70∼120℃
for one hour before use |
2. |
Optimum welding
current differs depending on plate thickness. It
is necessary to observe slag movements and
adjust the current |
3. |
Optimum
bead length/burned up electrode length ratio is
0.9∼1.6 for manual welding, and 1.0∼1.6 for
gravity welding. |
