Description and Applications

HW70S is a gas metal arc welding wire with CO2 shielding. Welding thin plates into all positions is easy, especially vertically downward. It can be used in a wide range of currents with stable arcs. There is less spatter, a glossy beaded appearance, and higher welding efficiency.

Butt or fillet welding of mild steel or 500N/mm2 high tensile steels such as vehicles, electric appliance, pipes, steel frames, bridges and ships.
　

Guideline in Usage
1. In vertical downward welding, the wire should be held at an angel slightly above a horizontal one.
2. Optimum voltage would should be selected in accordance with welding current to maintain stable transfer mode. If voltage is too high or too low, dip transfer frequency will decrea.
