Description and Applications

HE8018-B2 is a iron powder low hydrogen type which can increase deposition rate, X-ray test is good and mechanical properties is also excellent. The deposited metal contains 1.2Cr - 0.55Mo as principal element.  It is intended for welding Cr-Mo alloy steels used at high-pressure boiler and high temperature (under 550℃).

 
Guideline in Usage
1.

Electrode should be re-dried at 350 400℃ for 60 minutes.

2. The weldment should reheat at 100150℃ and post heat at 680 690℃ for 60 minutes.
3. Keep the arc as short as possible.
