Description and Applications |
HE8018-B1
is a iron powder low hydrogen type electrodes
for welding 0.50% Cr-0.50% Mo steels to be used
at high temperature around 500℃. It is suitable
for welding of high-pressure boiler, chemical
and refinery industries. It has high deposition
rate, with excellent X-ray performance and
mechanical properties, too. |
|
Guideline in Usage |
1. |
Electrode should be re-dried
at 350
∼
400℃ for 60 minutes. |
2. |
Preheated
and interpass temperature should be controlled
at 100 ∼ 200℃ during welding. Stress relieved
heat treatment at 605∼635℃ for one hour. |
3. |
Keep the arc as short as possible. |
