Description and Applications |
This type is used for 550N/mm2 class
high tensile steel. It shows extremely excellent
crack resistance as used in all positions. It is
suitable for welding of heavy high tensile steel
plates, bridges, pressure vessels, steel
structures, and machinery. |

Guideline in Usage |
1. |
Electrodes should be re-dried at
350~400
℃ for one hour before use. |
2. |
Keep the arc as
short as possible. Use back step method to
prevent blowholes |
3. |
Preheat temperature varies in
accordance with plate thickness and steels.
Preheat at 70~120
℃ before welding |
4. |
Welding with an excessive heat input, e.g. more
than 55 KJ/cm for a 35 mm thick plate should be
avoided to assure the strength and toughness of
the weld metal |
