Description and Applications

HE7016-A1 is a low hydrogen type electrode, which has well all position weld ability. The deposited metal has 0.550.6% Mo as principal elements which has excellent mechanical properties. It is suitable for welding of piping steels (ASTM A335 P1), rolled steels (A204 A,B,C) and forged steels (A 182F1, A336F1).

 
Guideline in Usage
1.

Electrode should be re-dried at 350 400℃ for 60 minutes before use.

2. The weldment should reheat at 100150℃ and post heat at 620 ± 25 ℃ for 60 minutes.
3. Keep the arc as short as possible
