Description and Applications |
HE7016 is a low hydrogen
type electrode for all position welding, especially in
overhead welding. The weld metal shows excellent
mechanical property, crack resistance, and X-ray
quality.
For the welding of 500
N/mm2 high tensile strength steel for ships,
buildings, bridges, and vessels.

Guideline in Usage
|
1. |
Electrodes should be re-dried at
300∼350
℃ for one hour before use. |
2. |
Back step method
should be used to prevent blowholes and pits at
the arc starting. Keep the arc as short as
possible. |
3. |
Remove all dirt such as oil and dust from the
groove. |
