Description and Applications |
Deposited metal contains two-phase of 29% Cr - 9% Ni
ferrite in an austenitic matrix. The high chromium
content gives HE312 good oxidation prevention. As the
weld metals contain larger quantity of ferrite, the heat
resistibility is good.
Welding of dissimilar metals such as 29% Cr - 9% Ni type
coated steel, high nickel alloy steel to stainless
steel, carbon steel or low alloy steel. |

Guideline in Usage
|
1. |
Preheat is
unnecessary. |
2. |
Keep arc
and amperage as short and low as possible.
Weaving width should be within 2.5 times
electrode diameter. |
3. |
Electrodes should be re-dried at
250
∼
300℃ for one hour before use |
4. |
Remove dirt such
as oil and dust from the groove |
