Description and Applications |
HD150L
is an ilmenite type electrode for all position welding,
especially vertical-up and overhead welding. X-ray
performance and mechanical properties are excellent.
Welding
of parts where the reliability is required, as for
ships, vehicles, buildings, bridges, high-pressure
containers and the other general structures made of mild
steel.

|
Guideline in Usage |
1. |
The
electrodes should be re-dried at 70 ~ 120℃ for
30 ~ 60 minutes before use. Excessive moisture
absorption may result in some porosity and more
spatters. |
2. |
Pay attention not to exceed the range of proper
currents. Welding with excessive current not
only lowers X-ray performance, but also causes
increase of spatter, undercut and insufficient
slag covering. |
