Description and Applications |
HC100 is a graphite
type electrode with a pure nickel core wire for the
repair of various cast iron products. Weld metal is not
so hard and is easily machined. Arc is stable and slag
is easily removed.
It provides high toughness and excellent crack
resistibility.
Welding and filling up of cavities of cast iron
products. |

Guideline in Usage |
1. |
Remove
the dirt from weld metal. Preheating at 150℃ is
required. |
2. |
Deposit short runs and give hot peening at each
bead.. |
3. |
Length
of one bead should be 50mm maximum to prevent
overheating, distortion and cracking, and
stringer welding is recommended. |
4. |
Electrodes should be re-dried at 80~120℃ for 60
minutes before use. |
