Description and Applications |
H27 is a
high iron oxide powder type electrode, which designed
for flat and horizontal fillet welding. It is used in a
wide range of bead length/burned up electrode length
ratio. It assures a beautiful bead with equal leg length
but without undercuts. High welding efficiency is
obtained when it is used in a combination with a gravity
welder. Suitable for welding of ships, bridges,
buildings and mechanical structures. |
|
Guideline in Usage |
1. |
Electrodes should be re-dried at 70~120℃
for one hour before use. |
2. |
Optimum welding current differs depending on
plate thickness, surface conditions, and bead
length/burned up electrode length ratio. It is
necessary, therefore, to observe slag movement
and adjust the current. |
3. |
Optimum bead length/burned up electrode
length ratio is 0.8~1.5 for manual welding,
1.0~1.5 for gravity welding. |
